announces The XRT/Samuel Adams Octoberfest on Saturday, September 22 at
Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Hall

W. Washington, Chicago). The event will celebrate the history
and spirit of Octoberfest with live music, specialty cuisine, Stein Hoisting
competition, craft beer sampling and more, all with XRT’s Lin Brehmer as the
master of ceremonies.
Samuel Adams will flow all day,
highlighting some of their best brews including Octoberfest, Lager, Angry
Orchard, and Harvest Pumpkin. A craft
beer station will be available sampling all of Samuel Adams’ unique and
specialty brews. Authentic Octoberfest cuisine will also be served. The winner
of the Octoberfest Stein Hoisting competition will be sent on a weekend trip to
Boston, complete with an exclusive tour of the Samuel Adams Brewery. The
festivities will be filled with live music from The Phenix Band, Jimmy’s
Bavarians, Die Musikmeisters and German dancers to keep the Octoberfest spirit.
Tickets for the event are $15 and are
available now at TicketWeb.com and include one Samuel Adams beer. Walk-up
tickets will be available the day of the event.
